The project is working with Environment Canada to build better species distribution models that include species interactions and connectivity.
The postdoc will develop professionally by learning new statistical techniques, publishing high impact journals, and interacting closely with partner organizations.
Additional practical training includes conference presentations, manuscript preparation, manucripts co-authorship, and project report writing.
Activities include workshops, professional development short courses, and conferences.
Other expectations are the at the postdoc occasionally helps graduate students with their work (expectations discussed prior) and is in the office 3 days per week in reasonable circumstances.
