About the Opportunity
Performs basic or applied research of varying scope and complexity. Assists in the planning, interpretation, and publication of research results and grants. Ensures the laboratory is maintained and may exercise functional supervision over supporting research staff. May be responsible for purchasing and budget administration. May present research. The appointment generally does not extend beyond two years.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates the ability to plan and execute research.
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, attention to details, as well as training in research methodology and quantitative data analysis.
Previous supervisory experience desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

3) Train and supervise graduate students.
4) Laboratory management.
5) Purchasing and budget administration.
